Effective date: September 1, 2026

Bullet Cat - Journal & Planner ("Bullet Cat", "we", "our", or "the App") is a personal journaling and planning application. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to users.

This policy applies to the Bullet Cat mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create or sign in to an account, we may collect information needed to authenticate you, such as:

  • email address;
  • authentication provider identifiers, including Apple or Google sign-in identifiers;
  • Firebase user identifier.

Journal and planning content

Bullet Cat lets you create personal planning content, including tasks, notes, events, scheduled items, and journal entries. This content is stored so the App can sync your information across sessions and devices.

Subscription and entitlement information

If you purchase Bullet Cat Pro, purchase processing is handled by Apple and/or RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We may receive subscription status information such as:

  • product identifier;
  • entitlement status;
  • purchase and renewal status;
  • expiration date;
  • RevenueCat customer identifier;
  • related transaction metadata needed to unlock paid features.

Analytics and diagnostics

We may collect limited analytics and diagnostic information to understand App usage, improve reliability, and fix crashes. This may include:

  • App launches and feature usage events;
  • device and operating system information;
  • crash reports and performance diagnostics;
  • anonymized or pseudonymous identifiers used by analytics and crash reporting tools.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide account sign-in and authentication;
  • store and sync your journal, task, and planning content;
  • provide Bullet Cat Pro subscription access;
  • prevent abuse and protect the App;
  • understand and improve App functionality;
  • diagnose crashes, bugs, and performance issues;
  • respond to support requests;
  • comply with legal and App Store requirements.

3. Services We Use

Bullet Cat may use the following third-party services:

  • Firebase Authentication for account sign-in;
  • Cloud Firestore for storing and syncing App content;
  • Firebase Analytics for usage analytics;
  • Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting;
  • RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management;
  • Apple App Store for in-app purchase processing;
  • Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple when selected by the user.

These services process data according to their own privacy policies and security practices.

4. Payment Information

Payments for in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Bullet Cat does not collect or store your full credit card number, bank account details, or App Store payment credentials.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only when necessary to:

  • operate the App through service providers listed above;
  • process subscriptions and maintain Pro access;
  • comply with law, regulation, or legal process;
  • protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the App, or others.

6. Data Retention

We keep account and App content for as long as needed to provide the service, unless deletion is requested or required by law. Diagnostic and analytics data may be retained according to the retention settings of the services we use.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at:

Contact: [email protected]

If the App includes an in-app account deletion flow, you may also use that flow. Some records may be retained where required for legal, fraud prevention, security, or accounting purposes.

Deleting your Bullet Cat account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. Subscriptions must be managed through your Apple account subscription settings.

8. Children

Bullet Cat is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

9. International Users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the App after an update means the revised policy applies.
